It started at a taco shop.

In August 2025, two friends sat at a taco shop, and one of them was complaining a bit too much about the tedious parts of being a lawyer. (Hint: It was me.)

I was exhausted with circles under my eyes because I’d fallen asleep on my couch while doing work on my laptop… again. I can’t tell you how many nights this happened: konked out with my laptop open, trying to dig out from under the pile of unprocessed mail.

If you do this work, you know the feeling. The work never stops coming. You work this hard to provide for your family, and then the work takes away the time you wanted to spend with them.

So, together, these two friends set out to get rid of the biggest soul-sucking parts of being a workers’ compensation attorney: the long, tedious ones. First for myself. Then for my colleagues.
